Limit of Stray Light

Potassium Chloride Solution

Weight accurately 1.2 gm of Potassium chloride (previously dried at 105 ^o C for two hours) and dissolve & make up to 100 ml with distilled water.

Go to Photo metric mode

• Press Ctr + M
• Add wavelength 200 nm {Select RAW DATA}
• Auto zero
• Then keep the Potassium chloride Solution in the sample cell holder & using water as a blank Close the cell compartment
• Click Start
• And record the observed Abs. 

Acceptance criteria:-

Absorbance is greater than 2.
